"He's expecting 14th child with wife", Former Seahawk Star Shaun Alexander reveals !

Former NFL MVP and Seattle Seahawks legend Shaun Alexander has revealed some big personal news — he and his wife Valerie are expecting their 14th child.

Alexander shared the announcement during an appearance on the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams. After Adams complimented his “beautiful family,” the former running back couldn’t help but share the exciting update. “We’re just now starting to tell people, but No. 14 is in the belly,” Alexander said with a big smile. “You’re the first one I’ve told on TV. So, we’re just now starting to tell everybody.”

The couple already has a huge family with 13 children — 10 daughters and three sons. Alexander didn’t say yet whether baby number 14 will be a boy or a girl, but the news instantly lit up social media, with fans congratulating the family and joking about the NFL star building his own football team at home.

Football fans often point to former Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, who is famous for having 10 kids. But with 14, Alexander has officially passed him by. Adams even mentioned Rivers on the show, laughing about how the Seahawks great has him beat in the family department.

Beyond the fun family news, Alexander also spoke about his hopes of eventually making it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. “I want my kids to see the Hall of Fame. Am I asking too much?” he said. For him, the honor would not just be about football but about creating a legacy that his children could experience alongside him.

Alexander’s football résumé certainly makes a strong case. In 2005, he was named NFL MVP after rushing for a league-best 1,880 yards and a record-setting 27 rushing touchdowns in a single season. That same year, he carried the Seahawks all the way to the Super Bowl, though the team came up short against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He was one of the most dominant running backs of the 2000s, earning Pro Bowl honors three years in a row from 2003 to 2005. Over the course of his nine-year NFL career — eight of them in Seattle — he totaled 9,453 rushing yards and 100 touchdowns across 123 games. His time with the Seahawks made him a fan favorite and one of the franchise’s all-time greats.

After leaving Seattle, Alexander had a brief stint with Washington in 2008, but his legacy remains tied to his years with the Seahawks, where he became one of the NFL’s most feared rushers.

Now, more than a decade after retiring, Alexander is focused on his family and his future. With baby number 14 on the way, his household is set to grow even bigger. And with Hall of Fame discussions beginning to swirl, Alexander is hopeful that one day his children will be able to watch him take his place among football’s greatest legends.

For now, though, the MVP running back is celebrating life’s newest victory — another baby on the way, making the Alexander family one of the biggest and happiest in the football world.
